Dr. Kirby Plessala, MD, FACOG
Dr. Plessala is a practicing Obstetrician and Gynecologist with over 30 years of clinical experience helping women with recurrent pregnancy loss, PCOS, unexplained infertility and subfertility get pregnant without IVF. A native of Morgan City, Louisiana, he earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Tulane University and his medical degree from Louisiana State University Medical Center. He’s a proud resident of Mobile, AL. He is known for his kindness and empathetic bedside manner. Dr. Plessala feels one pregnancy loss is too many and dedicates his spare time to innovating non-invasive approaches to improving pregnancy outcomes. He is an avid researcher and contributor to the field of reproductive health.

Dr. Laurence "Laurie" Jacobs, MD, FACOG
Dr. Jacobs is a Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility specialist (REI) with 47 years of clinical experience. He graduated from Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine, completed a 4 yr OB/Gyn residency at Northwestern, 7 years as an OBGYN, before completing his REI fellowship at the Mayo Clinic. He specializes in treating female and male Infertility, Ovulation disorders, IVF, Recurrent Pregnancy Losses (RPL), Endometriosis & complex metabolic disorders, like PCOS. Dr. Jacobs is known for his empathy, quick wit and commitment to helping his patients have a healthy baby. With almost 40 yrs of IVF experience, he strongly encourages 2nd opinions for failed IVF.

Dr. Amanda Alvelo-Malina, MD
Dr. Amanda Alvelo-Malina, MD, a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, completed her Obstetrics & Gynecology residency at Magee-Womens Hospital in Pittsburgh. With over 15 years of clinical practice and board certification by the American Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology, she specializes in hormone management, menstruation disorders, fertility care, PCOS, recurrent pregnancy loss, obesity, and women's health optimization through preventative care, healthy lifestyle promotion and encouraging healthy eating habits. Dr. Alvelo-Malina is recognized for her collaborative approach and working closely with patients to enhance their reproductive health.

Dr. Jodie Horton, MD, FACOG, is a board-certified OB/GYN with over two decades of expertise, dedicated to exceptional women's healthcare. As an Assistant Clinical Professor, she shapes the next generation of healthcare professionals while focusing on obstetrics and high-risk obstetric care to ensure the safety and well-being of mothers and babies. Dr. Horton empowers women to take charge of their health with a holistic approach, advocating for healthy lifestyle changes. Joining the Ovum healthcare team, she focuses on fertility optimization, healthy pregnancies, and perimenopause. She is licensed to practice in VA, MD, DC, and LA.

Dr. Jill Garnier, OBGYN
Dr. Jill Garnier, MD is a board certified, licensed obstetrician-gynecologist and surgeon with 15 years experience in clinical practice providing comprehensive women’s healthcare from adolescence through menopause. She is a proud graduate of Princeton University with a degree in Molecular Biology. As a seasoned obstetrician, she’s delivered care for low and high risk pregnancies. She is passionate about fertility optimization and improving adverse pregnancy outcomes. As a dedicated patient advocate known for her listening skills, bedside manner and ethical rigor, Dr. Garnier is licensed to practice in both MN and TX.

Dr. Natalya Chalik, Internal Medicine
Dr. Natalya Chalik is a board certified internist specializing in treatment of chronic illnesses, wellness, prevention and offering a complete array of medical services. She is known by many patients for consistent quality and reliability receiving exceptional reviews for decades. She is able to offer patients the best choices in diagnosis, treatment, and up to date scientifically advanced care available. She graduated from Saba University School of Medicine in 2000. Dr. Chalik has a private practice in Staten Island, NY, is affiliated with Staten Island University and provides collaborative care via telehealth with Ovum. She speaks fluent English and Russian.

Alyssa Hulbert, FNP-BC
Alyssa Hulbert, FNP-BC, M.S., RN is an enthusiastic and detail-oriented family nurse practitioner with clinical care and leadership experience in infertility practices, surgical settings and private practices. Alyssa has exceptional communication and assessment skills, offering her patients personal experience with her own infertility journey, PCOS diagnosis, IVF experience and success with GLP-1’s. . She is passionate about furthering the nursing profession and teaches up and coming nurses. Originally from Syracuse, NY, she currently resides in Cazenovia, NY and is licensed to practice across multiple states.

Jenna Appel, MS, RD, LDN, CDCES
Jenna is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist, and Reiki Practitioner, specializing in holistic health with a focus on interconnected systems. She has a Masters of Science in Nutrition from Hunter College, and completed her dietetic internship at the University of Virginia Health System. Her areas of expertise include healthy weight loss, diabetes, disordered eating, preconception care and perimenopause. Her methodology revolves around non-scale victories and evidence-based practices, equipping you with the tools and unwavering support needed for optimal health.

Lauren Haring, RN
Lauren Haring. RN is a fertility nurse, IVF coach and Head of Clinical Operations with more than two decades of experience in fertility. Nurse Lauren established her fertility career first as an egg donor, then grew into a practice manager role at a prominent fertility clinic. After a few years as a fertility coach to countless couples who need medical assistance to have their families, she co-founded Ovum. She’s been on both sides of the aisle - having been a patient herself and a nurse in a clinic. She works with Ovum patients to ensure patients understand their integrative treatment program, feel supported and cared for along the way.

Ashlyn Krantz, RN
Ashlyn is a registered nurse specializing in fertility. Throughout her career, she has been privileged to partner with patients as they navigate the world of reproductive medicine. Ashlyn finds fulfillment in uncovering the root causes of infertility in her patients, offering support to women facing cancer diagnoses through cryopreservation cycles, and witnessing the first positive pregnancy test are just a few of the rewards that drive her passion for fertility nursing. She is a patient advocate at Ovum Health helping patients navigate the complexities of the health care system, organizing their care calendars, answering on-demand questions related to testing, treatment and the response their bodies have to health improvements.

Nicholas Limoncelli, PA C, MBA
Nick Limoncelli is a licensed and certified Physician Assistant trained at St. John’s University. With both a medical degree and MBA, Nick is particularly proficient in supporting patient’s navigation of the complexities of the US health care system. He is uniquely trained in high-risk pregnancy management, women’s health, metabolic disorders and co-morbidities. His consulting work with hospitals, health systems, and provider organizations is focused on operational, financial, and clinical performance improvement. He is passionate about helping couples form their families and avoid high-risk pregnancy outcomes. He lives in Nashville with his wife and is an avid gardener and musician in his spare time.

Tamara Austin, PA-C, MPAS
Tamara is a board-certified physician assistant who received her Bachelor of Science from Charleston Southern University and her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies (MSPAS) from the Medical University of South Carolina. Tamara’s focus in family medicine and women’s health fueled her personal mission of providing highly informed, exceptional care to all her patients. Tamara is married to an Army veteran with three little miracles, two sons and a daughter. Outside of medicine, she enjoys crafting, baking, camping, and spending time with family and friends as well as her farm animals. She also deeply values volunteering in the community and for her church.
