Our bodies hold the key to unlocking how to have a healthy pregnancy, healthy baby and healthy life.
-
Hormones
We customize your lab work based on your health history and pregnancy goals. We can check and analyze your hormones including estrogen, progesterone, TSH, LH, thyroid, Vitamin-D (yes its a hormone too) and more. Each woman is unique and we will treat your lab work as you unique as you are.
-
Wellness Markers
Cholesterol levels, micro-nutrients, A1C, sugar levels and more can tell us what to eat and what exercise is best. Today’s labs are so advanced we can understand so much so fast and customize our pregnancy wellness plan accordingly. Many of these tests are covered by insurance.
-
Advanced Bloodwork
Sometimes we need to dig deeper than standard of care to uncover what is preventing you from having a healthy baby. Although these labs are often not covered by insurance, they can help us unlock the key to your success and may include thrombophilia, auto-immune testing and thyroid anti-bodies to name a few.
-
Genetics
It all begins with your DNA. But our lifestyle and dietary choices significantly impact which genes help us or which genes hinder our ability to have a healthy baby. That’s why we partnered with FertilityAnswers to uncover your genetic profile for having a healthy baby. With both male and female genetic analysis, we can look at carrier screening, as well as genetic predisposition to PCOS, low sperm counts, insulin resistance, high-cholesterol and more. This test is usually covered by insurance.
-
STI / STD Testing
Sexual wellness leads to healthier pregnancies and babies. Many undiagnosed, silent conditions were sexually transmitted and can eventually cause painful sex, pain while urinating, and even infertility. We recommend routine STI testing before trying to get pregnant so we can stop anything in its track before it becomes a problem. This testing is usually covered by insurance.
-
Sperm Analysis
Our partner, Path Fertility, offers SpermQT, a sperm quality test that identifies if sperm can do their job, which is to find, bind, penetrate, and fertilize an egg. Yes, sperm have an important job that involves more than just swimming! SpermQT can be collected in the comfort of your own home or as a post-cloital collection up to five days after intercourse. We are sensitive to religious and cultural needs that may make sperm collection at home not-possible. This test is not yet available by insurance but is HSA/FSA eligible.
-
Environmental Toxins
It’s no secret the environment can help make us healthy or help make us sick. You are what you eat, drink, breathe, do and where you live! Endocrine disrupters are everywhere. Most of us have functioning livers and kidneys that process out the bad stuff, but sometimes a build up of toxins gets in the way of having a healthy baby. We partnered with Million Marker to help you learn what’s getting in your body. And they will help you identify products in your home that might be causing the build-up. This is not yet covered by insurance.
-
Ovulation Confirmation
Have you confirmed you are releasing an egg each month? Many women try and predict their fertile window using apps and LH tests, but many conditions make those predictors unreliable. We prefer knowing if you’ve released an egg or not by getting at-home progesterone levels. Choose from one of our partners and receive a discount to your at-home ovulation kit including ovusense.com, oova.life and inito.com. Ask about your Ovum discount today.

Microbiome Testing
New research has connected the microbiome to fertility outcomes. We can now identify specific diet protocols based on your unique microbiome that improve your chance at getting pregnant. We selected Microgenesis as our microbiome testing partner and our nutritionists will customize your meal plan based on the results. This test is not yet covered by insurance.
Pregnancy Testing.
We know how scary it can be to finally be pregnant and have to undergo testing to determine the health of your baby. We are here every step of the way. We will walk you through your various options to determine if you have gestational diabetes, preeclampsia or other pregnancy complications. We will celebrate with you when its good news and mourn alongside you when it’s not the news you want. We will also help you monitor your biometric data and pair you with a medical nutrition therapist to ensure you reduce your risk of developing pregnancy complications. Once you have a healthy baby in your arms, we will help you recover from childbirth.
You are not alone.
Postnatal Testing
Our bodies positively crash when we deliver our baby, even in the best of circumstances. Our hormones plummet and that can sometimes wreck havoc on our energy levels, mood, food cravings and ability to bond with our baby. We will work with you and your registered dietician to test your wellness markers and micro-nutrients, as well as customize a meal-plan specific to your bodies needs and lifestyle.
